Clearly I have not been very good about regularly updating my blog. Hopefully I will start blogging more and facebooking less---I am so tired of the endless drama I read about. Since my last post a lot of exciting things have happened in our life! Richard graduated from AIT and airborne school :) yay! He finally earned his wings; I am so proud of him. He was supposed to fly back into Boise on the 17th of May but he ended up surprising me and coming home the Saturday before. It was the best surprise ever! I was so happy to have him home again :) He had to work for the first two weeks that he was home because he was a hometown recruiter. Basically he went around to high schools in the surround area and talked to the students that were interested in joining the Army.
Aside from Richard coming home we also got our first duty station...We are going to Vicenza, Italy! Well technically Richard is there already (he has been for about a month now) but of course with the Army nothing goes as planned and I am still stuck in the states! We are supposed to find out for sure on Monday when I get to leave, fingers crossed. One thing that I am pretty anal about is getting family pictures taken. Of course that means my husband hates doing them, thankfully he is a good sport and goes along with it just for me:) While Richard was home it was nice to visit with family and friends. It's always so refreshing just to be with him again and we don't even have to anything special, I just love being around him.
Just me:)
Oh! I only have about a week and a half until I am finished with my associates. Let me be the first to tell you, taking 19 credits your last semester of college is
Hopefully this time next week I will be back in Italy with my hubbs! I miss him. We have exactly 1 week and 1 month until our ONE year anniversary. I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I am thankful for the wonderful man that I get to call my husband. I can't wait for eternity with him:)I vow to do better on updating my blog! I'm thinkin' Sunday activity! :)
